ABOUT ME

An independent man with an independent mind, I am an artist first and a businessman second. This does not mean disagreements over "artistic direction" with my clients. No, on the contrary it means that we share a vision, and I don't stop working until we both are happy and satisfied. I take justifiable pride in my work and the warm relationships I share with my partner/clients. I offer art, not quick images while I'm checking my watch.

I solo-bicycled from Cape May to San Francisco in 2001, 3435 miles and more mountain passes that I remember, including the Rockies and Sierra Nevada. I've taught English, history, social studies and theater. I play guitar, harmonica and the djembe, a large African hand-drum. I have a lovely wife and a superlative 5-year-old son named Zbyszek. I love to cook, since cooking is art. I have a large garden, I re-designed my house, and honesty and integrity mean everything to me. I traveled 50 states by plane, train, automobile, bus and (of course) bike, lived in 11 of them, lived in Poland for 5 years and traveled Europe and Egypt.

Oh... And currently, I'm reading my son the Captain Underpants series in a variety of silly voices and celebrity impersonations. :)
